The success of the post goes to show how much of an impact the Dungeon pricing debacle had on the community, and it poses the question as to what Bungie should do with Destiny 2 in the future.
This would also balance the changes for the Season pass in Season of the Lost, where armor was removed from it, while other virtually worthless items persist - such as fixed rolls for seasonal weapons and Glimmer.
Mainly, the post criticizes how Destiny 2's Season passes are not on par with the industry's standards, whereas most other games with paid seasonal or monthly content include cash currency. If Bungie is going to move forward with this new dungeon price strategy, AND continues to double dip with paid content and Eververse, the absolute least they can do is meet the industry standard and put Silver in the Battle Pass, in both free and premium tracks. Silver is mostly used for cosmetic items, emotes, finishers, and more, but it could also be useful for those who want to purchase the next Season pass with it. This move would make Destiny 2's Season passes more valuable because Silver is a real-money-only currency within the game, which could then be collected in small quantities in the free-to-play Season pass and in bigger quantities in the paid branch.
